Everyone is invited to start the celebrations at the Rat Race Ale House at 13:02 hours, then taking in the Globe and the Camerons Visitor Centre.

Probably the North East's most unusual pub and certainly the smallest; The Rat Race Ale House crams in quality products. Four real beers at all times, cider and perry, quality snacks, papers, books and great wines, coupled with great conversation and no noisy distractions add up to a great package. Take a seat and get served by Pete! The beers of the day are displayed on pump clips climbing up the wall read downwards, though there is also a chalk board. Actually on Hartlepool railway station, the RRA can be entered from both street and platform.

In the evening, everyone is invited to Saltburn Cricket Club at 19:00 hours, where we have arranged for some food to be made available. We hope to see as many there as possible.

This friendly club features regularly in the Good Beer Guide and has been a local branch Pub of the Season.
