Ale & Arty Stockton Beer Festival Meeting

The first Open Beer Fest meeting for the Stockton ARC Ale & Arty 2011 Beer Festival, all welcome.

The Stockton ARC Ale & Arty 2011 Beer Festival is being planned by organisers Dan Cassidy, Ray Blythe and Dave Ward. The Festival 'open' dates are Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th February 2011. Setup will be Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd Feb.

Volunteers will be required for the Setup and the Festival sessions. You have to be a CAMRA member to be a volunteer. Volunteers are rewarded with beer.

Ossett Brewery Trip

Costs - brewery trip £10 per head - includes two firkins (depends on availablilty).

Transport: 16 seater @ £180 (~£11.25 per head) or 24 seater @ £230 (~£9.60 per head).

Food will be at a nearby pub - either the Brewer's Pride or Silver King (sandwiches, light bites, etc. ~ £3& larger meals upto £11)

Total cost ~£25 per head - depending on numbers & type of meal. A deposit needs to be paid in advance to definitely book the 23rd. at Ossett therefore, I need sufficient people to commit in advance with £10 deposit to make the trip a success. Please Note

Where transport is provided these events need to be booked as soon as possible so that we can organise transport. The provision of transport is subject to sufficient numbers.

1. For social events where transport is provided this will be charged at a reasonable cost. Please note that once you have confirmed your place on the bus if you cancel and we are unable to fill your place you will be liable to pay the full seat price.

2. Where subsidised transport is provided a small charge will be made. The branch is able to subsidise certain events such as when we undertake beer tasting and scoring where public transport is limited or non-existent. Where a member books a place(s) on the bus and cancels at short notice they will be liable for the transport cost if the place cannot be filled. Subsidised transport is currently £6.00 for members and £8.00 for non-members.

3. Members are welcome to bring along guests but will be responsible for them including the payment for transport if they fail to show.
